Have some issues with the joints but im sure it'll get better. =)

We are still adding a hip joint in the panty line. =). The hands arent done yet either. Still a lot of work to do. A whole lot more finetunening as well. But its extremely fun to make. I cant wait to string it and see how it all comes together..Although one step at a time. Fix all the jointing first and then perfect the resin...then we can drill holes and try out the doll..=)

 

 First Face Wips of FBS.

First of all this is to get our feet wet in making faces. I know everybody has there own preferences and in a while we will have all kinds of faces from girl to male teen..=)

Just wonder how you like it. Take in consideration that this will be very smooth when done..

 My previous works although very nice have been pushing my newest project a little behind. So while i wait for the time when i can start. I am looking through the net. I found these Supia Dolls and they are just the most gorgeous things i have seen. I am just soo in love with them and it make starting this project all the more intolerable. =).







These two are just simply gorgeous..i can see why you guys are soo addicted with these..=)

We just finished the Colossus, now we are doing the Juggernaut.  Once thats done I may have a little time to start my most awaited project..=)

Yeah The first BJD made here..My first Shunya inspired BJD..I was also thinking of a smaller child BJD..Inspired by Range Murata naman. He is just soo good with younger faces..Its unbelievable the talent of this guy..=)

For the first body which will be sculpted this month we will be using a double jointed souldoll as inspiration. The body will be sculpted from scratch and of course the anatomy from scratchbut the jointing will be similar.



We will make other bodies of course but this one looks like it poses well without giving up too many of the joints.

These BJD's are inspired by Shirow Masamune. He is an unparalleled Japanese Artist who Made Appleseed and Ghost in the shell for starters. I just love how the movement of the dolls and the opening compartments of the lower one..The work is just exquisite and amazing at the same time.

I just wanted to share the things i see that drive me into making a BJD..=)



I have a couple of sculpts in the making and i really cant wait to start my Shunya inspired BJD..=)

Here is another Artist that ispires the hell out of me. She is just soo good..even with out the glass eyes. Her faces are just soo beautiful. =) Let me introduce Marina Bychkova. Extremely talented..=)

I just love the art of Shunya Yamashita and i would like to go the Japanese route in BJD and lean towards the anime style in dolls. However the next heads will have faces closer to real humans. =)
